I hope that you and yours are coping well during the ongoing exceptional circumstances.
Social isolation has been one of the biggest challenges during the lockdown and it has been really good and refreshing to see so many of you face to face at the Clinic in the City of London over the summer months. We are of course implementing safe procedures in line with advice from the Government and regulators. It has also been good to hear how easy and safe a lot of you have found travelling by public transport to our clinic, a welcome perk of the new world we are experiencing!
I appreciate that face to face appointments might not be easy or safe for everyone, so I would like to reassure you that video and telephone consultations are an established option for you. Video consultations are also an option for new patients and this has been particularly welcomed by those living in places of the UK beyond our usual reach.
I am passionate about access to quality health care and with clinics increasingly offering remote consultations it can be a minefield for new patients to choose who to approach. Reviews about our service are very informative both for our development and new patients, so should you be able to, please post some comments on Trustpilot (https://uk.trustpilot.com/review/www.medicalprime.co.uk)
In line with my desire to promote an ongoing improved understanding of the menopause I am pleased to be delivering a webinar entitled ‘Menopause: The impact on women, men and business.’ This is being organised by Women in Banking & Finance in partnership with Refinitiv. Further details are here: (https://www.wibf.org.uk/events/details/menopause-the-impact-on-women-men-and-business). If you wish to attend please contact us for a free ticket. Should you be involved with an organisation that would be interested in holding a session relating to the menopause do please contact us on info@medicalprime.co.uk
I am also delighted to share that our clinic is taking part in a research project at King’s College London which is looking into the menopause. Do watch out for a survey connected with this appearing soon in your email box; I hope that you will take part and contribute to this important work.
As always, feel free to contact us through Zarina McCulloch, our Clinic Manager, at manager@medicalprime.co.uk with suggestions and ideas on our services.
In the meantime, keep well, safe and positive.
With warmest wishes
Dr Theodora Kalentzi
