While spring has not properly arrived yet, I do hope that brighter days ahead and thoughts of summer will be a ‘pick me up’ for all of us.
At Medical Prime we have been keeping busy since the beginning of the year. As part of the clinic’s aim to keep menopause in the news, I have delivered several presentations to companies with a focus on “Perimenopause and Menopause – the effect on women, men and companies”. In fact, this particular focus also formed part of discussions during a recent visit to the clinic by City of London Sheriffs, Alison Gowman and Nick Lyons.
I have also taken part in media interviews, including a video interview with thought leader Paola Diana which can be accessed via our website Unleashed-The Game Changers
Earlier in the year, the Royal Exchange invited me to speak on the Menopause.
There are also some shorter information videos available to view
Medical Prime videos and several of you have told us how useful they have been.
Additionally, your own stories on Patient’s Stories are very much appreciated as are the testimonials on Trust Pilot. They offer so much support to patients in the Medical Prime community as well as those outside it. Please do get in touch should you wish to write up your story or a testimonial and need some help; we will put you in touch with Medical Prime Editor, Mary Tomalin, who can assist with the writing and/or editing. I would particularly welcome stories from patients and their partners together.
We also have some exciting news to announce. During the coming months, we will be holding some 45-minute online sessions on perimenopause and menopause aimed at improving awareness and knowledge. When the dates and topics are finalised we will send out the details and hope many of you will be able to join these.
On some housekeeping news, I would also like to take this opportunity to remind patients of CloudRx, the online pharmacy that is dispensing the majority of our HRT prescriptions and, in most cases, has been able to supply HRT when local pharmacies have run out. We understand the distress the current shortage is causing and would like to reassure our patients that we are doing all we can to ensure you get your medication.
Finally, please book your follow-up consultations as early as you can as appointment slots are filling up several weeks ahead.
