Welcome Reception for His Excellency Zakri Jaafar, the new Malaysian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and his wife Madame Nor Aini.
Dr Theodora Kalentzi was pleased to attend this The British Malaysian Society (BMS) event which provided an opportunity to discuss healthcare, among other topics.
At the event the welcoming address was delivered by BMS Chair Mei Sim Lai OBE DL; this was followed by a speech from Dato’ Anthony Cooper on behalf of The Sarawak Association. Husna Fathiah Binti Zulkarnain delivered an address on behalf of Malaysia Link UK.
His Excellency Zakri Jaafar kindly provided an update on Malaysia before mingling with the many guests.
A vote of thanks was delivered by BMS President Sir Mark Moody Stuart.
